Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress with a range of talents, who's mostly involved in sitcoms on TV, got the best opportunity to shine in Jeff Foxworthy's wife on the ABC show "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired on the network for one season in 1995 until 1996. Barone's first appearance on stage was at the age of five in Detroit where her family had moved after moving to the city from St Louis. At age 23, Barone was already in 50 different plays. Most of them were at regional or university theaters. The role she played was Juliet, the tormented young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the main character in "Monday After the Miracle"" and Juliet reprised as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." Her first screen appearance was a part-time role in "The The Rosary Murders" and a brief appearance in "Ricochet" along with her role as the main character in an indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" which premiered in 1996. Barone had her first notable Hollywood role as part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) which was a failed attempt by Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone played a part in the"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". Barone later came back to her regular sitcom routine, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio". Anita Anita Anita
