Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on the 2nd of December, 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her appearances in both movies and television shows. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. Brandt began her acting career as a New Zealander in the show Diplomatic Immunity. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt portrays the role of Mazikeen on the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer, which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa and then moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. She began her career as a model when she appeared in ads and commercials. She also worked as a consultant for IT recruitment and in retail before becoming famous as a fashion model. She landed her first featured role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she was given the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021 she appeared in Spartacus Blood and Sand as the young slave girl Naevia. Her character, Naevia, was reprised on the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star on three different TV shows that included Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix successful show Lucifer. She has played her leading role until the present. In this show, she is co-starring along with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
