Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She managed to make it on her student stipend as she worked part-time. Lennox was not content with her performance compared with other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a member of the band Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. As part of this group, she was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they created their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox worked on her solo first album Diva. It was released in 1993. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. This E.P. is an accompanying piece to her art installation in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now, I'll let You Go... It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a music producer and singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to gain international recognition in the 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs like Why, as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features cover versions of popular songs like No MoreILove Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and her compilation album contain a variety of hits.
